Formed in 1977 at a school in Sutton Coldfield nr Birmingham,Frankie D and The Quicks were a short lived regional band. The members were from the local area and from various backgrounds. Their recordings remained largely private. Despite their brief existence they contributed to the local scene from the late 70s
